Enabling Wi-Fi

To enable Wi-Fi on a flight modem, please contact Customer Success. Our team will remotely enable Wi-Fi functionality on the modem for you.

Wi-Fi connectivity settings on controllers may vary by manufacturer and model. If you are unsure which settings are required to connect your controller to Wi-Fi, please contact Customer Success. We will be happy to assist you in configuring your controller’s Wi-Fi settings to ensure proper connectivity.

Diagnosing a Poor Cellular Signal

If you are experiencing connectivity issues, most Flight modems are equipped with a Kajeet SmartSIM. This allows us to switch your modem between the three largest US cellular carriers: AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. Which enables us to find the strongest signal in the modems area.

We also provide a range of antennas, signal boosters and mounting options to help improve the cellular signal to your modem. Refer to the chart below for what can be purchased through us.
