Changing SIM and APN in GWBR1 CHEMTREAT Modems
Setup Instructions:
Check Connections:
Open the modem lid and ensure all cables are connected properly.
Attach the antennas to the side terminals.
Insert SIM Card:
Use a SIM pin or paper clip to open the SIM tray and insert the new SIM card.
Connect the Modem:
Option 1: Use an Ethernet cable to connect the modem to your PC or laptop.
Option 2: Connect via WiFi using the password 8049352200.
Power Up:
Plug the modem into a power outlet.
Wait for the lights to stop blinking and turn solid.
Login:
Once the modem is ready, log in to the modem's settings.
Important: If using a LAN connection, you may need to set your computer’s IP address to 192.168.50.10. Otherwise, you can skip this step.
Change IP Settings (if needed):
Go to Settings:
Open Settings ➡️ Network & Internet.
Edit Network Connection:
Click on your active connection.
Scroll down and click Edit under IP settings.
Set Static IP:
Choose Manual for IP assignment.
Enable IPv4 or IPv6 (or both).
Enter the new IP address and other details.
Save Changes:
Click Save to apply the settings.
Logging in
In your web browser, type 192.168.50.1:8080 and hit enter.
You should see the Teltonika login screen.
Username is: admin
Password is Ch3mtr34t
Changing the APN.
In the WAN Connection Status section, click on "Details."
Delete the APN address in the APN field and replace it with the one that we provided.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click Save and Apply.
