ModemMillie2.0 Installation Instructions

This ModemMillie2.0 comes pre-assembled and is ready out of the box for plug & play connectivity with your water treatment controller.

Set up Instructions

1. Attach the provided antennas to their corresponding posts on the outside of the modem enclosure.

Note: The Wi-Fi antenna goes to the post on top of the unit. The cellular antennas go to the sides. If an external antenna is needed, it will replace the antenna on the left side.

Finish physical installation of the modem.

2. On your controller's panel, go to network setup/communication and ADJUST values to the default values below. If you have special requirements with different values and they have not been programmed into your modem, please give us a call to schedule a time to re-program the modem.

Note: If you are using a Walchem Controller - the Webserver setting must be changed from HTTPS to HTTP.

3. Plug in the supplied Ethernet cable from the ModemMillie2.0 LAN port to the controller.

4. Power up ModemMillie2.0 and wait 2 minutes for it to boot up and establish a cellular connection. Please note that if the cellular signal isn't strong in the space where the modem is installed, it may take more than 2 minutes for the modem to acquire a connection. The lights on the bottom face of the modem, inside the enclosure, will flash in unison during boot and then they will go solid when a connection is made.

Note: You may verify the modem internet connection by giving us a call at 888.455.6641.

5. To access your controller from any remote computer/phone/tablet.

Scan the QR code or launch your browser and enter the supplied secure web addresses. Both are included on the installation guide that you will have received with the new modem.
