Flight - Teltonika RMS Page Settings

Scope: Personalize the Dashboard Table using the Page Settings on the RMS Platform. The “Page Settings” link gives you different options to choose specific columns you want to see in the main content window, change their column order.

Assumptions: User is already logged into RMS and device list is visible.

From Main Dashboard – Default View

Select the Page settings link

2. Each new user will be assigned the Default view.

b. The default view cannot be changed

Page Settings – Create new preset

Selecting the Create new preset allows you to customize the fields you would like to see.

1. From the Page Setting window, select Create new preset link

a.

b. Give the view a name and select “Default” from the Based on drop down box

c.

2. Suggest leaving the three charts displayed by default alone

3. Use the Parameters section to rearrange the order of the columns and to add and remove columns.

a. To rearrange, drag and drop the order of the parameter

b. To Delete a parameter, click the X in the parameter name

c. To Add a new parameter, select the Add link

d. Note you are allowed a maximum of 16 parameters on the table display

4. There are several dozen parameters that can be displayed and many of the Sections listed are not helpful for your views. Here is a list of the most popular parameters to consider in your custom view

a. Section: Default Name

  1. Description

  2. Serial

  3. MAC

  4. Created At

  5. Company Name

  6. Mobile Signal Strength

  7. Mobile IP

  8. Firmware

  9. RSRP

  10. RSRQ

  11. SINR

  12. Tags

5. Using the Select Parameters search bar

a. If you know a certain parameter you are looking for but cannot find it, using the fuzzy search bar can help locate a parameter name quickly

6. To Change a custom view, select the Edit icon next to the view name

7. To Delete a custom view, select the Trashcan icon next to the view name
